The Chikdren of Promise visiting team -
Linda Mason (Children of Promise Assistant Executive Director), and sponsors - Juliette Wilson and Laura Link and Annie Serwano (Upendo staff) and myself, have travelled to six church/school sites to visit sponsor children in Uganda.
Interviewing children at UGM - Murchison Bay Naomi Froese school in Kampala. 42 kids interviewed.
Then onward bound on Sunday -
New site visit - UGKS - Kasenke, Mubende western Uganda. Four children sponsored here. A wonderful Sunday service was enjoyed and then off in a cloud of dust - with many miles and rough, dusty roads covered with little to wipe the smiles off our faces -- except a flat tire.

God has been good to us and has given us a safe time with hardly any sickness. GOD IS GOOD!
UGMK - first site visit in Masaka - 18
Children seen. Then a program from the children and a tour around the school and church in Nyendo.
What a lunch - traditional foods, like matooke, ground but sauce, chicken luwombo, fried cabbage, steamed pumpkin, and so on!! Delicious!!
Next site - UGR - Rutooma, Bushenyi.

Last site on our road trip --off to UGRK - Rukungiri where we saw 22 sponsor kids.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch and then left for the 8 hour trip to the Capitol of Kampala and home!
An 8 and a half hour trip takes us back to the Capitol, Kampala and home.
We have two more days of interviewing children at Kasubi, Church of God Headquarters - UG and then the trio will head back to the USA.
Seeing @ 70 kids there - yes, a
big thanks goes to all the sponsors who make life changes in these children. Amazing love!
