Anderson University Nursing TRI-s group came to be part of the work in March and assisted in two of our clinics in Kasubi and Nampunge. They worked along side the Church of God clinic staff and did outreach into the community by performing physicals on students in both places and diagnosing those who had various diseases and symptoms of many tropical sicknesses. TAPP and the elderly were recipients of great medical care and were so pleased. Thanks to all the nurses who came and took part in this vital ministry.
Tim did a great job with our staff to look after their schedules and make sure everyone enjoyed their time.
AU nurses treating patients at Kasubi Headquarters
Prior to the AU nurses arrival and the German team, led by Pastor Siegfried Froese, Colleen had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had left for Canada for tests and medical care. Due to the abrupt departure, Tim was responsible for two teams simultaneously - quite a feat. We are so thankful for the great teams that we work with in Uganda --everyone pitched in and did their part creating unity and a great spirit.

A time of prayer for Colleen's healing was called by the Church in Uganda and Tim was anointed on her behalf. A strong message was preached by Rev. Moses Abasoola on healing and a challenge and call given out to people for that specifically. We do know God is able and heals -- and we trust Him in this.
Time of prayer by those who came together
The German team concentrated on finalizing the guest house up in Kapchorwa where they had been last year. They also continued some work on the church structure, did home visits, worked with children and enjoyed Sipii Falls.

In Kampala, they re-established their ties with the Naomi Froese Murchison Bay CHoG Nursery & Primary school by visiting many of the sponsored kids, painting and working on the main auditorium and Church building. Roofing was put in place, the baptismal tank was worked on and various other building projects.
