Day 3:
It is such a great idea to invest the gathered wisdom into a place where beginning and ends are daily events. The Bible tells us to hold to these three: “Faith, Hope and Love”. This trio guides us in following our creator’s plan for us as we journey from beginning to end. Though this place is huge, it’s great to see even more new construction happening. In fact, the company I worked for before Colleen and I went overseas is doing the construction. I noticed their signage all around stating: "building hope". We have great medical teams here and they have only shown such care and skill. In fact, we trust them with our life. However, we entered this place, sure of who we hold our faith in, whatever may come, our hope remains in Him and His will for us. The Surgeon said just after the successful operation: “Now we have room to hope”, but I told him that we live in that room called hope. He replied: “I bet you do!” Hope is unseen, but what one can see is faith-by one's actions, and of course, Love-the greatest of these three foundation blocks of our belief. Faith, Hope and Love.
When LOVE appears it is always visible.
Colleen has received so many messages of support, videos of services, audio notes of prayers, visits from people to pray with her, prayers from all over the world. All of the praying and show of such love! Thank you all!! In all of this, possibly the best medicine that Colleen has received is seen in her children and grandchildren, just by being near, now, who can get better loving then that? She is doing so well in recovery - she is a trooper for sure. We thank everyone for your continuing prayers!!!! We remain in hope, but have full faith that our God as He is ever showing His love in each of you many well-wishers, friends and loved ones.
